They combine conventional and complementary therapy options to maximize the recovery potential of their clients.

RehabMatters was co-founded by physiotherapists Mandy McCulloch and Amy Harrison, who after working in neurological physical rehabilitation, felt the need for an out-patient therapy centre that prioritised the rehabilitative needs of  patients.

Lynnmed Clinic patients are rehabilitation patients –  neurological rehabilitation, post-operative patients, extensive woundcare patients, palliative and terminally ill patients, dehydrated patients, patients with pneumonia, patients in need of intravenous antibiotics, patients in need of blood transfers and respite care patients.

Any person who is not in potential need of intensive care, or emergency surgery, is a candidate for Sub-Acute nursing care. Lynnmed Clinic has a  multidisciplinary team, including a Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Physio Therapist are located at the clinic, but they also work with dieticians, social workers and psychiatrists when needed.

They specialise in treating patients -

• in need of neurological rehabilitation, for example after a stroke
• in need of rehabilitation post-operative, orthopedic surgery -  prostheses hip, amputation
• in need of recuperation after a long sick bed or wound care
• who are terminally ill… etc.
