Emile du Toit is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Kenilworth, Cape Town who qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2003 after having completed his master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Rhodes University.
Since qualification Emile du Toit has been working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including as clinical director of an inpatient drug addiction unit.

Sheldon Brandt is a clinical psychologist, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. He specialises in providing private individualised substance abuse treatment, and has two Bachelors degrees, in Commerce and Social Science as well as an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology.
He has worked exclusively in the area of substance abuse and has experience in a broad range of settings used in the treatment of addiction. He has also -
- spent two years working as part of the clinical team at the inpatient chemical dependency unit at Kenilworth Clinic;
- has managed patients undergoing detoxification at the clinic
- has consulted on their out-patient treatment program for over two years
- conducted intake assessments and run groups at some of the established secondary and tertiary addiction treatment facilities in the Cape Town area;
- managed the clinical team at an inpatient addiction facility for an eight-month period;
- set up an outpatient addiction treatment programme in an impoverished community in Cape Town.
