The Garden Route Recovery Centre arranges detoxification for the following addictions:
- Heroin addiction,

They were established in 1995 and are a non profit organisation whose aim is to offer help and support to those whose lives have been broken by various traumas involving rape, suicide, murder, domestic violence, drug & alcohol addiction, abuse, etc. Their doors are always open to help children, teenagers and adults in their darkest hour.
Their purpose is to strive to get addicts the best help possible. Their approach includes sound and proven, yet innovative methods of counsel.
They offer group sessions to educate and guide parents and friends on how best to deal with chemical dependency. When the victim is out of control, someone else has to take responsibility and make the choice for the victim in securing forced rehabilitation, whether the person is of age or not.

Starting out in 2000, BethaRapha is a registered non-profit organisation and ministry dedicated to helping people break with addictions like drugs and alcohol. Their help is offered free of charge to anyone irrespective of race or religion, who wants to break free from their addiction.
They have as their mission statement:’To shatter the drug and alcohol culture and enable addicts to walk free.’
They have got a passion for people who are engulfed in the world of addictions, and they want to guide them into taking responsibility for their lives; rid themselves of their addictions and to go forward into a new life drug free. They also focus on the redevelopment of social and interpersonal skills.

Freedom Recovery Centre focuses on giving support to the parents and families suffering the pain and devastating consequences of drug- and alcohol abuse in South Africa.
They don’t only want to save the person from addiction, they would like to educate them and prepare them for a re-entry into ordinary life.
