They are a registered non-profit organization that exists for the benefit of all South Africans, regardless of creed or colour. Their mission is to reduce the harm caused by the existence and sale of addictive products or services.
If someone you love is using drugs, suffers from compulsive over eating, is depressed and suicidal, you can contact Addiction Action Campaign. If you don’t know where to turn and you aren’t sure of the cost of rehabs, then they can help you by referring you to the right clinic.
They are also available to visit schools or organisations to educate anyone on substance abuse. The AAC represents the rights of all South Africans on the issue of substance abuse.

They are a non-profit organization, with their focus being on helping people engulfed in the grip of alcohol and drug problems to find a road of recovery and ultimately to improve the well being of individuals, families and communities.
They offer a range of informational, educational and support services through their evidence based programmes and dedicated service delivery. Their programs are international approved and tailored to suit the specific needs of the individual.

FAVOR SA is interdenominational and emphasises the importance of the spiritual dimension in the challenges presented in Recovery.

The Namaqua Treatment Centre makes use of the medical/psychological treatment strategy. A medical assessment is the key to successful intervention and will be done by highly experienced personnel.
The Namaqua Treatment Centre offers comfortable accommodation, and the tranquil and attractive surroundings are conducive to healing, affording the addict every chance at recovery.
The treatment is supported by a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the individualized treatment program for each patient, will be implemented.The multi-disciplinary team consists of psychologists, psychiatric nurses, addiction counsellors, social workers, psychiatrists, general practitioners, occupational therapist, dietician, recreational counsellors, religious workers and admin staff.
The patient needing detoxification is first admitted in the Vredendal Hospital, and the treating doctor will decide when the patient can continue to the next step.The psychological treatment program usually lasts for four weeks, but this can be extended to 3 months and longer if needed.
