Their goal is to provide a safe and healing environment for its clients and their families, and for opting for after-hours rehab, alcoholics and drug addicts can get help while carrying on with their daily lives.
Dan Wolf is a registered psychologist who specialises in dealing with addictive disorders. He established First Step Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Recovery Centre which focuses on treating addicts in a less restrictive environment. He is also involved in running The GAP, an
extended Primary and Secondary treatment centre in Ferndale.
The First Step programme runs for 6 weeks from Monday to Friday and includes compulsory attendance once a week at a 12 step fellowship programme as well as individual counselling sessions once a week.

My nephew is 16 and drinks every weekend. This is my late brother’s son who lives with my mother (his grandmother) in Umlazi, Durban. He is in grade 10, gooing to 11.
I am looking for an out patient care centre as I dont want his schooling to be interrupted,
I could send him to you during school holidays.
