They are an Inpatient Primary and Secondary Addiction Center, offering comprehensive, clinical addiction recovery programs. The abuse of substances is associated with psychiatric diagnoses such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, but it can also be related to unresolved issues from the past, current social circumstances and personality, and with their dual-diagnosis programme, The GAP takes all these into account in determining an individual treatment programme.
Their treatment philosophy is influenced by the 12-Step (Minnesota) model. They offer Primary and Secondary residential care at the GAP.
Their programs all include individual and group therapy, and when appropriate family and couple counselling. They also offer community support programs on the premises (AA, NA, CA), and family support meetings.
